Paul Guinery has been widely active as soloist, accompanist and chamber music performer. In recent years he has explored the richly rewarding but neglected treasury of English light music composed between the wars.

Drawing on his own extensive sheet music collection he has recorded three CDs of compositions by Richard Addinsell, Eric Coates, Madeleine Dring, Vivian Ellis, Edward German, Ivor Novello and Haydn Wood, among others. These are often played on BBC Radio 3, where you can also find Paul reading the news summaries on the Breakfast Show.

Paul will be talking to Anthony Wills about his affection for this repertoire and playing a selection of his own favourites.
