'The Range Rider' Starring Jock Mahoney and Dick Jones as Dick West This early Western featured the exploits of the honest, principled and tough Range Rider and his boyish sidekick, Dick West. Dressed in a fringed buckskin shirt and a white stetson, The Range Rider wore no boots, only moccasins. His horse was called Rawhide. Dick, sporting a dark, military-style shirt and a black hat, rode a steed called Lucky. The theme song was called 'Home on the Range' (Dick Jones had earlier provided the voice of Pinocchio in the Walt Disney cartoon feature film) |
