Welcome to our website

Who we are - We are a very friendly group interested in the theatre and the world of entertainment. We meet in a very comfortable room, with amplification facilities, at the 60+ Club (formerly the Darby & Joan Club), 58 Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 5PH.

The benefits of joining us - these include reduced admission price to our meetings, a bi-monthly newsletter, Fairfield diary of events and occasional discounts for shows at The Ashcroft Theatre and The Fairfield Halls.

Our meetings - Club meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 3pm (except July and August). Usually meetings consist of a talk or entertainment lasting about one hour, generally followed by questions, Then there is a raffle and buffet tea. The meetings normally finish by 5pm.

2011 Meetings Cost: Members £4.00, Non-members £6.00 which includes buffet tea and free raffle. No booking is required, pay at the door.

Access - Six minutes walk from East Croydon Station, the venue is near a bus stop (119,194,198 & 466). Trams serving the routes between Beckenham Junction or Elmers End via Addiscombe to Croydon and the route between Addington and Wimbledon pass the door. Alight at Lebanon Road Tram Stop. All three tram routes stop there.
Parking is free in the roads adjacent and opposite the premises. There is a car park for 11 vehicles. However, we ask that these be taken by our committee and helpers bringing food etc. to the meetings and for our disabled and less mobile members.

How to get to Croydon - East Croydon station is a six minute walk from the 60+ Club. There are several trains per hour to London Victoria (16 min). Also trains to Charing Cross, Waterloo East, and London Bridge. The lines from Watford and St. Albans also come in to East Croydon calling at several North London stations en-route.
Buses to Croydon Centre stop within walking distance of the 60+ Club.
